First 30 Days — Flexible Enrollment Period
We want every new student to feel confident that DAMPA is the right fit. The first 30 days after enrollment and the start of lessons are considered a flexible enrollment period.
During these first 30 days, families may make changes or discontinue lessons at any time without being responsible for future monthly tuition. Tuition already billed remains in effect through the paid period and is non-refundable.
If something isn't quite clicking, we encourage you to talk with us first. We're happy to help with options such as trying a different teacher, adjusting the lesson format, or finding a different recurring time before you decide to withdraw.
Withdrawal After the First 30 Days
After the flexible enrollment period and once a student's second monthly tuition payment has occurred, enrollment continues month-to-month.
To withdraw, DAMPA must receive written notice by the 15th of the month to stop tuition billing for the following month.For example, notice received by October 15 will make October the student's final month and prevent November tuition from being billed.
The student's recurring lesson time will be released at the end of their final month. If the student returns to DAMPA in the future, we'll be happy to help find a new lesson time based on the requested teacher's availability at that time.
Withdrawal After the 15th
Withdrawal notices received on or after the 16th of the month take effect at the end of the following month, and the next month's tuition remains due. For example, a withdrawal submitted on October 20 would make November the student's final billed month.
Our teachers are professional working musicians who plan their teaching schedules and availability in advance. The withdrawal deadline allows DAMPA to provide teachers with a reliable schedule while giving us adequate time to make newly available lesson times available to other students.
